Aaagh I got a new keyboard and it sounds so great! Per a reddit recommendation in making my keyboard sound 'marbly' since I needed to get new keys since that OfferUp keyboard's hotswapable was not a 5 pin ( not even a 3 pin either!!) since I bought new baby kangaroo switches, which sounds amazing too btw. Thanks to my babe as a bday gift aaaaawww! My birthday comes in 2 days and i don't have anything planned except for being with my partner and my family. but I'm not completely alone since I contact like...2 friends. As I grow older i need to appreciate being there for people so i will stick with who I have. The bridges i've burned is many.

Yaaay! It's the month of my birthday! I got new 10$ keycaps from OfferUp, hence why I'm updating a journal entry again to try them out. These keys were listed as 75$ brand new but I see why they're 10 dollars since some important key sizes compatible with my current keyboard. I've been obsessed with the VR game 'Garden of The Sea' I want more cozy games like it. I didn't expect the customizing a house aspect to capture me since I steer away from most games where you can customize your own house in fear that the decoration is limiting, bad aesthetics.

The end of the month draws near and I take advantage of this full moon period by indulging on personal projects, like continuing to airbrush my keys. So far I airbrushed the numeral keys to light (?) green and the left bigger keys to the same dark blue. I figured out why my airbrush was acting weird, the compresser kept humming in intervals instead of continuously, that's cuz the front tip was clogged, funny how the airbrush manual for care does not mention this. So far, my keyboard is looking like a transformer.

In between coats, I cooked chili, I swear each dish I cook from here on out keeps getting better and better! Tomorrow I have to choice to cook between spaghetti or pad thai. I want to make pad thai since the fresh ingredients like bean sprouts will expire soon. Though I have to use the king oyster mushrooms too, but that's for a completely different dish.

Going to sleep last night I had an interesting idea of making my own custom keycaps after looking at overpriced custom keys online. I have spraypaints, and an airbrush so I test airbrushed the backspace key. This keyboard came with a japanese orange and white bee themed keyboard, which is cute and aesthetically pleasing in its own way but it's not me. I need pink and/or pastels and it needs to compliment this black keyboard base. Unfortunately the light blue spraypaint bottle that I thrifted from an art recycle store ran out of paint (who knew!) so all I had were the hand me down airbrush Tamiya color paint colors that my brother gave me from his gunpla hobby. There is a nice dark blue and a muddy minty green, I might combine it with a bright green. It reminds me of my first original OC, medi's color scheme.

I can also use polymer clay for super cute customs. I've been thinking maybe a chao one? As I continue to profit off the image of chaos through my Etsy store. Just yesterday I sold a sleeping pixel chao crosstitch exactly from the pixels of Sonic Advance's chao garden. I feel like SEGA has completely abandoned chaos, more specifically the chao garden so there are chances they are ignoring my exploitative business practices.

Today I got my first mechanical keyboard from OfferUp, a cheap gk61 60% but it's foam modded by the previous user with brown switches so I thought it was a pretty good deal. It was the exact same price as Amazon, new, since there was a sale but no way I'm supporting Amazon. I love this hand-me-down mechanical keyboard, it's like I can sense the love and passion from the previous user as energy imbued in this keyboard. The way this keyboard clacks is as if my fingers have their own voice. You know how people like to talk a lot because they like the sound of their voice (not me). I feel like I'm going to type a lot cuz I like the way I clack. or thock.

Earlier today, I made the best pad thai ever! Buying ingredients from specific Asian groceries really paid off. I used hand-crushed thai chili peppers, oh gods the journey into making that was very painful, who knew that crushing dried chili peppers with your bare hands would leave burns lasting for a day!! It could have been worse because apparently those types of burns can last 2-4 days. I bought some real limes instead of using those concentrated lime juice bottles. I used fresh rice noodles, I put them in very hot water so next time I'll use warm water, the noodles get really delicate and soggy. + I used JustEgg i feel like that was the cherry on top. I miss egg so much. Growing up scrambled eggs and fried rice was my comfort food cooked by my mom and I also miss cracking an egg over instant ramen. I still have yet to see an 'egg drop soup' style egg in vegan stuff. What a time to be alive where restaurants are using vegan eggs sunny side up style over loco moco.

Goodbye life, I finally caved in and downloaded Story of Season's A Wonderful Life remake. It was my childhood game I sunk so much time on, yet I never beat it. Luckily this new game doesn't take as long to beat

I was still able to go out today! Went to a subpar vegan restaurant, despite being more resistant to the outside world, I need the Vitamin D and be more active. I think I've maintained a steady momentum this 2024 in going out at least once a week.
